Goodbye

Thunder shows me my way
While driving in a new car
It's a beautiful brand new day
And this time i'll go very far

My shoes are ripped apart
Got holes in my jakcet
But my baby is by my side
And this time we are loving it

Kicked out of my job
Though i boast i quit
Cocky is not the right term for me
While i am alive and i am free

Now that the time has finally come
And i have left everything far behind
My baby will give me one last kiss
Through a bullet to blow my mind

** I guess you know what i mean by my "baby" here.. :o)

    I like this. I don't know if you've heard of a band called Augustana because it sounds like one of their songs called Bullets. The likeness is uncanny. I don't know if you got your inspiration from there, or not, but I really like this poem nontheless. 5/5
