I've been waiting so long for you
To realise just how I feel
How many kisses does it take
To show you my love is real

Whenever you need support and care
I'm always right there by your side
But whenever the word 'love' is said
You just run away and hide

You know we have something special
But you don't seem to understand
My love won't wait forever
For you to take me by the hand

I don't want to lose what we have
But your giving me no choice
If only you would say the words
My heart would just rejoice

To just say that you love me
That's all I ever want to hear
But my heart can't wait forever
For yours to get into gear! ©
