Before You Leave

by Goran Rahim   Dec 13, 2006

Before you leave, visit me one more time.
I want to see your changed eyes,
The eyes that use to be full of love.
I will see what the reasons are
That made you to leave me;
I will read all that from your face.
Your letters are still safe in a corner of my room,
Don't forget to shed them.
The symbols of our love are still with me:
The rose, the pen, and the memories.
The rose is lifeless by now, but
The pen is still brand new,
You can take it with you, and
I will keep all the memories.
Before you leave, visit me
To see how tears are flowing from my eyes;
Before you leave, visit me
To wish you good luck, while
You are starting a new journey of your life.
Before you leave, visit me
To know if your decision was right.
Before you leave, visit me
To remind you the days, when
There was not any third person in our life.

    Wonderful.
    So many heartfelt emotions, though I have found that all your poems have very strong emotions in them. =]
    Anyway, wonderful flow and great vocabulary.
    And like she said, better late than never. =]
    Great job, keep it up! 5/5
