Sitting there...

by Espoirfailed   Dec 13, 2006

And you've never sat there before,
Maybe if you did we could have been so much more
And I promise I never asked her to say it
But she can never keep her mouth shut
But you know that
Of course you knew that.

Taking such an easy way out
Forgetting what our songs were about.
Forgetting every word
You ever whispered in my ear.
Forgetting every line
Different every time.

Did you think I'd fall for it?
No didn't think so.
But I did.
You said it so I believed it.

Maybe I see where you're coming from
If you hadn't have said anything
We'd still be moving along.
But that's the point.
Isn't that just the point?
