Christmas fun

Hoping and wishing, for the snow to fall,
Blanket the ground for the big and the small,
Cover the trees in crystals of white,
Praying it will happen this one special night,
A night that lasts just the one day,
Where children laugh, religous pray.
Write a big list of the gifts they need,
Smiling happily when they are received,
Smell of Christmas as the tree goes up,
Both hands wrapped round egg nog in a cup,
Laying out cookies for the one they love,
Santa Claus is coming to eat them all up,
Big white beard, big belly, big hair,
Children cherish this time of the year,
The Turkey comes out ready to eat,
Along with the rest of the Christmas feast,
For the special things they want, the children do pray,
This only comes on Christmas day.

    Very good poem. Maybe the only change I would think you should make is you might try spliting the stanza into two or more smaller ones. 5/5

    On the fifth line
    Theres a question mark at the beginning.
    I don't think it's supposed to be there.
    It seems like a regular Chrismas thing.
    Nothing really caught my eye.

    I give it a 5/5 :]

    Very Cute!! I absolutly love Christmas! It's my all time favorite holiday but the best part has got to be the snow. And reading this poem made me feel the anticipation of awaiting snowfall on Christmas morning! lovely write!
