Why do I do this to myself?
I know it is impossible,
Why does it seem so real?
To me it is so plausible

You are so easy to talk to,
Never did I think it would hurt like this,
We can be friends,
But I will never feel your kiss

Never will we be together,
I told you that I did not feel like this at all,
I lied and I am so sorry,
This love will be my downfall

Why did I have to meet you?
It is right in front of these eyes,
Taunting, teasing
And all I can do for it is cry.

    An okay poem.. the flow is off in the middle two stanzas and its very simple... the emotion wasnt as strong as i think it could be
