Live Your Life

The moment you find
yourself in the dark
your confused and scared
but know there is a journey you wish to embark,

To find that special someone
or make a difference in the world
show someone who you really are
and find out your life has uncurled,

When you know you will die
it takes your breath away
but you still stand
and go out and play,

It shows people
you will never give up
and stay strong in the worst of times
and never look down but always up,

You still live your life
even if its about to end
you still give and receive
and its your life you still defend,

But when those final moments come
you still never give in
and forget everything
as if your life were just to begin,

People come and cry for you
but you never drop one tear
and tell them you will be there
and never to live life in fear,

You lay there in bed
all by yourself with no one there
but you know that they want to be
and that they will always care,

So the final moments knock on the door
and suddenly your eyes close
and your last words are "I love you"
but she was not there to to ever know.
