Breathing in the mud

by Espoirfailed   Jan 22, 2007

I'm face down in this puddle
A puddle of my own blood
I'm lying on the field
I'm breathing in the mud.

I bathe in my lunacy
Reverted to my old ways
Love's a mere fallacy
One that makes you pay.

Hunted down by my old disease,
One I hold in reverence.
Contemplated suicides
Hold nearly no relevance.

Broken perfect love
Lays dead on the floor
A symbol of what cannot live
And is dead forever more.

    U know...it has a very interesting flow....seriously
dont know if its intentional...but its flow is paradoxical to the content of the poem..
almost a kid like song flow with deep depressing sad lyrics
very good work...i loved it...5/5 from me =D
