Life and Love

It's like you have pierced my skin with a javelin.
like you have sliced my heart with a blade.
i don't know how long i can stand it,
i cant take anymore of this pain.

This hurt and this frustration.
it's all i have left to give.
you have no signs of repentance.
thats why I'm led to this.

See these cuts,
and see these scars?
they are a part of who i am,
a part of what i was.
i never want to go back.

this pain and this trepidation.
i feel lost and all alone.
as if time is an exaggeration.
of life and of love.

**what happened was that i found out that the guy i have been in love with for like 3 years liked me...then he told me he liked me, but he liked my friend better. it hurt so bad...so i wrote... by the way a javelin is a spear...:D thanks for reading

    Hey,
    I can relate to your poem. I used to be so bad at cutting i was put into a hospital and i couldnt talk or see anybody. Anyway, i made a promise to a boy very dear to my heart and i havnt cut since. I feel what your feeling.

    P.S about my poem i dont know what happened to him, he just fadded away and hes not there anymore.

    Yeah ive been there, I promised my ex I would never cut and then we broke up but I still havent so yay! great poem thx far reading mine :)
