She Begged Him Not To Leave

She stands infront of the mirror,
wondering why he decided to leave.
her image becomes unclear,
as tears pour down with ease.
why did it all go wrong,
did he think drinking was right.
she knew it wouldnt be long,
before he ended his life.
she begged him not to leave,
but he didnt listen at all.
she was dozing off to sleep,
until she got that call.
she hung up the phone,
and tears filled her eyes.
now she\'s all alone,
because that night he lost his life.
she doesnt find a reason to live her life,
when the one she love\'s no longer around.
so through the heart she stabs a knife,
and collapses to the ground.

    Oh, wow. This was a really good poem. It's sad, but beautiful. My only suggestion is that you don't use "life" so much.

    "she hung up the phone,
    and tears filled her eyes.
    now she's all alone,
    because that night he lost his life."

    ^^ those are my favourite lines. They mold the piece together, if that makes any sense.
