Many times have i traveled to your majestic beauty
to be away from you is life's sad cruelty

more than just a tourist resort to me
a symbol of my writing ability, all can see

waves crashing on the glistening shore
show a side of life that i have deep in my core

history has treated you nice my friend
all the times i have visited thee i cannot comprehend

sitting on a rock inspiration flows
why only here? no one knows

i shall be sad when i depart
but i knew i would, from the start
