I was in love,
blind as a bat,
little did i know,
you were A sneaky rat,

you never really cared,
i was just someone to hurt,
i never would have thought,
you would treat me like dirt,

i thought you really cared,
when you said those three words,
but i didn't,
i never knew we lived in different worlds,

blinded by my love for you,
which now i deeply regret,
i never really knew,
that it was just a bet,

now i am left alone,
eyes open but filled with hurt and guilt,
guilt for being blind,
because of the love for you a wall was built,

but now i sit here,
heart broken and alone,
and once lovely soul,
turned to stone,

i love you,
those words that killed me so,
i never ever thought,
you were going to go,

holding my hand,
i felt like i was flying,
little did i know,
soon i would be crying,

i was blind,
