Dont wear flipflops in the snow

Mom told me don't wear flip flops,
i ignored her and put them on,
we drove to my aunt where i got out of the car,
we went in and nothing went wrong,

i ran outside,
dashed of the porch and slid on the snow,
fell right on my but,
and got up and began to go,

well i fell again,
and i cut my knee,
and when i looked at my mom,
she was laughing at me,

i said it wasn't funny,
and i looked and my cousin and her boyfriend was laughing too,
guess what went flying,
yup my shoe,

i walked in the snow,
my flip flops a yard away,
i know never to wear flip flops again,
even though it causes me dismay................

sad to say this did happen i fell right on my butt and everyone was laughing not only once but... twice
