The War

*The War*
Two countries fighting,
Soldiers dying,
In the world,
Families left crying,

The bullets the guns,
The blood and the fights,
Our soldiers,
Fighting through the nights,

Fighting for the politics,
Fighting for the lies,
Leaving their family,
After each and every goodbye,

People are against it,
Some are not,
In the dessert,
Where it gets so hot,

Iran and Iraq,
American soldiers are there to fight,
There to see,
The explosives being light,

Bombs being dropped,
Rifles being fired,
Sneaky rats,
All being hired,

As this war goes on,
Are soldiers continue to die,
And more and more families,
Continue to cry,

No, we cannot just talk it out,
There has to be violence,
Waiting for this to end,
The wait get’s tense,

We are not fighting for us,
We are fighting for the government,
But the boys continue to go out,
And more and more go out every moment,

Bush is to blame,
Yet some people do not agree,
The hurt and the pain,
They just do not see,

If we are, free,
Why must we all fight,
I have one question,
Is us fighting the choice that’s right,

Can’t we just keep the land we have,
Can’t we just all get along,
Does it really matter,
If another nation is just as strong,

What is wrong with the world,
We lose more and more men everyday,
Higher taxes,
That needs to be paid,

It is because everyone is greedy,
And wants more then another,
We cannot be the same,
And join together,

Why is there a war,
Why do soldiers die for politicians,
Why can’t the go and fight,
Why can’t they be the ones holding the guns,
