Him and Her.

Her

A flying ball of energy,
Roams from place to place,
A firing intensity buried
Deep within your soul.
Joy in your face
Spills out and passes round the room.
The love you have for life
Is such a beautiful thing,
Unmistakably true,
You're stronger than the world.
Stronger than all the world put together.
You make each and every one of us
Feel our worth in this society
We now know we need no-one but ourselves
And we can do anything,
We'll follow your lead.

Him

A serious face,
Never-ending caffeine,
Keeps him awake
After a restless night
Voluntary smiles have become a rarity.
When he dances,
We laugh and he laughs
And everyone seems happy.

The blank expression returns
Overcast,
And into the next day
And into the next week
It continues.
We have one last hope
To get him back on track,
We'll do our best,
And pray to god it wins

This is about the apparent effects of a relationship on two adults. It's one strange situation..
