Innocence Lost

by Annabel   Mar 5, 2007

The day she lost her innocence,
She begged to be told the truth
About the world in which she lived.
She ran around in a frenzy,
Questioning the world,
Only to find false-truths and lies.

The day she lost her innocence
Power surged inside of her
She was ready to fight the world,
And fight the world she did.
In this world full of hatred
You have to hold on tight
Just to keep yourself alive.

She became stronger day by day
And she has learnt she must love none,
As those that break your heart,
Are those you love the best.
