Meaningless Without You

by Gem   Mar 28, 2007

Drawing a heart upon the sand
Kissing you softly with a smile
Holding on tightly to your hand
My heart feels free and versatile

Every little thing that you do
Has me falling more in love
We fit together like paper and glue
The way a hand fits in a glove

You show your love in different ways
The two of us come as a pair
This isn't just a teenage phase
It's something special that we share

This may be another cliched rhyme
But to me this poem says everything
I followed in destiny's design
And proved it wasn't a hollow fling

After everything we've done together
There's one thing I always knew
That we were meant to last forever
My life is meaningless without you
