Vivid animation, a whirl of colour and a lost chance of hatred

by Espoirfailed   Apr 6, 2007

It was all a blur,
A memory imprisoned
By hopeless thoughts.

And the colours combined
As two became one,
And I said I didn't mind
Being your someone to lean on.

And on that cold floor,
You told me that you wanted more,
And we laughed when we got caught,
As your sweat became mine,
And we breathed in time,
And it was more complex than we thought.

And maybe I've got issues,
But a metropolis of vibrancy,
Put them all on the back burner,
And we rushed with an urgency,
Because we knew there was never
Going to be enough tomorrows,
Never enough to forget our sorrows,

But we used each other
As our best efforts.

More than a scapegoat
But not enough for a lover,
Why can't I forget
When we relied on each other.

And that reoccurring swirl,
And vivid imagination,
Still burns in my head,
Like an evil animation.

Unbelievable, they just get better and better; I didn't think that was even possible! Haha, this was amazing. The imagery was outstanding and your wording was great. Keep it up, Darling.

Once again, the vocab usage is amazing, as is the flow of this poem. It's so sad, yet once again I'm wanting more and more.

Again, you've got lovely vocabulary. This was wonderful, and very powerful, not to mention absolutely well worded.
You never cease to amaze me with your words.

Great poem the only part I saw that should be changed was this

    "Why I can't I forget"

The first I needs to come out it doesnt sound right :p. Other then that it was very nicely worded. I actually had to look up a word I didnt know what it meant but now I do. Ah expanding vocabulary :)

    Wonderful poem indeed!
