December Bus Ride

Honey, I still get butterflies
When I think of that dark night
On that fateful bus ride
When being with you felt right

We were sharing the same headphones
With me sat on your lap
Inside I was ecstatic
As we had a normal chat

The flirting went up a level
As I leaned against your chest
Your hands stroked down my back
Just what would happen next?

I couldn't tear my eyes away
Just focused on your face
Shivers running down my spine
As your hand curled round my waist

We shut out the noise around us
As we cuddled up so close
I wanted to stay like that forever
But I wanted a kiss the most

And then you actually did it
You gave me the sweetest kiss
Once, twice, three times for luck
I was in a state of bliss

Ever since you kissed me
I was straight head over heels
Cause on that December bus ride
My love for you was sealed

    This was so sweet!
    A great opener and each stanza was better than the last.
    The flow was beautiful and the imagery used was pretty.
    I haven't commented your poems in a long time, it's defintely time for me to start doing so again.

    Awww thats so sweet and lovely. i like the story and for it to be an oldie its still good. i like the last verse of the poem :
