Until you

by Abena   Apr 24, 2007

Until you whispered,
the deafening silence had drained
my endless sorrows

Until you cried,
my voice had been broken
into a ravishing tear that took no form of life

Until you slept,
the watches of the night had taken
its role, with fear lurking

Until you loved,
darkness had me conquered
with no dazzling light
