The anatomy of a teenage girl

by Marie   May 7, 2007

Take apart my mind
what do you think you'll find?

You'll find curiosity and wonder
delight and enticement
joy in the little things
and with the big things excitement

look into my eyes
and prepare for the surprise

see my originality
see my fun
see my desire to do everything
until it's all done

Take apart my heart
and what's amongst the art?

love lost, love gained
a hint of regret
a hall of all the cute guys
I would have ever met

Look into my soul
tell me of its role

Tell me of it's love
Tell me of it's pureness
But most of all tell me
Of it's total unsureness

I like this idea... The taking apart makes the poem stronger in a way.. The ending stanza was good and the two last lines were a great ending in my opinion...

    Overall great work =D
