Knight in Armor

Everyone always talks about
How they want to find their knight.
Save them from the evil dragon,
To fill their hearts with light.

Yet only few choose to be their own hero,
For people long for touch and compassion.
Women choose to be helpless and insecure
Some concealing their great passion

Only a belief of mine but women,
They should stand tall and strong.
They need to be their own knight
And find a place to belong.

But this is me talking nonsense
Going to where I should not be.
I refuse to find the knight in armor,
I will fight the dragons and find my key.

    Wow, i was impressed. i like the statement and what you had to say. not as impressed with the poem as much as i was the meaning behind it. I think your vocabulary could have been more poetic. Othere then that it was great. Btw sorry i got back to you so late. I broke my arm in a go-kart accident. Thanks for the comment.
