Your eyes, they sparkle in the light,
embedded in my head at night.
I wish that someday you'd be mine
-- aware that hope's a waste of time.

The clock ticks slowly,
Time speeds by.
I sit here wishing you'd be mine...

If only this one wish came true,
that you'd want me like I want you;
If only I could hold your hand,
but I know that I never can...

    This, I can relate to so much. When I was younger then I am now, like maybe in 3rd grade, I would always wish on the star that my new crush would have a crush on me, and like in fairytales, live happily ever after. But fate is a B!^@# isn't it? Leaving you to try and grasp what isn't going to be yours, teasing your emotions and whatnot.
