Picture frame

Looking through a picture frame
seeing all of the shame
in the world of today
seeing all the faces of people in pain
seeing everyone running away
from a past that they cannot escape
looking for a place to hide and stay

looking through a picture frame
seeing all the corruption that reigns
all those who hide behind false claims
broken promises breaking dreams
seeing all the seams
of the world unravel
seeing the short distance
that people have traveled

looking through a picture frame
looking at all the childeren
who are lame
broken hearted and hurt
from all the people
who create this worlds shame
laughing and turning away
when the world needs
the cruel
to come before
and help those hurt and poor

looking through a picture frame
noticing its a window
showing the world
with all its shame
being run by those who are insane

looking through a picture frame
realizing the world has got to change

    I loved this poem. I found it to be quite amazing speaking true facts here. Kept me interested from start till finish. one thing though I think you should capitalize the first letter of each line it just makes the poem a little neater. Other then that this was a good read. Well done~mel
