Every Moment

by x.Athame.x   Jun 13, 2007

The wanderer is weary her feet start to ache
She can no longer cope with this heartbreak
The friend that she loves so, is too far away
And the journey gets harder each passing day

Because every moment
That she sits there alone
Is one more moment
That she doesnt feel at home
Because what is this place
Without her best friend near
All it is, is someplace
That she never could hold dear

Her eyes may as well be rivers; tears streaming down
And her spirit is just like paper; ripped up on the ground
For she herself is incomplete without her sister's laugh
So she simply turns back to times long since passed

Because every moment
That she sits there alone
Is one more moment
That she doesnt feel at home
Because what is this place
Without her best friend near
All it is, is someplace
That she never could hold dear

So let the universe hear her cry & end her journey soon
For right now she simply weeps under the full moon
Her world is spinning rapidly, she trys to shut her eyes
But no one answers her self-shattered cries

Because every moment
That she sits there alone
Is one more moment
That she doesnt feel at home
Because what is this place to her
Without her best friend close
All it is, is something
To remind her what she lost

And she cannot keep pretending that everything's ok
She cannot keep believing this pain will go away

So every moment
She sits there all alone
And every moment
She wishes she were home
That her best friend, her sister
Was right by her side
But she opens her eyes
Only to find
She is still all alone

*Supposed to be sung, think... slow sort of ballad thing going on. :)

**Dedicated to Rixxxxxxxxxxi. :) Lurve you.
