My Hearts Desire

I want to wake up next to you each morning
Share with you every new day dawning
To be your lover, confidant and friend
To your every need and desire lovingly tend
Hold you close and kiss your blues away
Your fears and worries gently allay
To wake you with a kiss or a touch
Just thinking of it makes me ache so much
To feel your body snuggled next to mine
Both trembling, hearts beating in time
Fingers entwined, we'll kiss and make love
I know of you, I'll never get enough
I hope that soon, my wish will come true
And I'll be where I belong, with you.
