Ode to Henry

For the 9 years we've been together
You've always been a great friend
So it really grieves me to tell you that
Our relationship has got to end

You see I've found someone new
Who's younger and more trusty
He's got less miles on his clock
And his body's not dented or rusty

Thanks for the many memories
That we've shared and seen
And to all the different places
Together we've been

So, goodbye dear Henry
I'll try not to cry
As you take your final journey
To the scrap yard in the sky

Henry isn't a person, he is my old car, LOL
