Downfall

Fake a smile, fake a laugh
Hide your pain and forget the past
It wasn't meant to be, it wasn't meant to last
Even though you gave him another chance
The blade's in your hand and tears swell in your eyes
As he hangs up and tells you 'goodbye'
His voice is no longer heard and you start to cry
The blade's to your wrist, you just want to die
A cut is made, he can't stop you anymore
Not after he pushed you right out the door
Blood begins to seep and you continue to weep
Your heart is tattered,like broken glass shattered
He cheated,he lied
Not good enough for you or the tears you cried
But you loved him and you still do
Yet it's not your fault he left you
You cut again,way too deep
And your life begins to seep
Will he feel guilty at all?
Because he was the reason for your downfall.
