Today We Could Revive [Double CinqTroisDecaLa Rhyme]

by HOLLYWOODxBANGBANG   Aug 9, 2007

Today we could revive, admit to all of our mistakes;
[To get you back, Baby, I will do whatever it takes];
Let`s put our fingers down, who cares who`s right or who`s wrong,
`Cuz this fighting has been going on now for far too long.
I`m sitting here leaning all of my hopes onto these words,
Hoping that they`re far better than the others that you heard;
Because you know that I like to talk after a drink or two,
But I never thought that my slurred words could do this to you.
And I`m sitting here looking pretty for you in my black dress,
Because this sight was never difficult for you to digest -
And it may be pathetic, but this begging keeps me alive,
So I`ll sit here waiting for you so that this can be revived.

I`m such a sucker for a heartbreaker, that you knew;
And in retrospect; a heartbreak is an understatement to you,
Commitment is a strong word, a lot stronger than your heart;
Because you ripped me to shreds and you tore me apart.
And it may sound crazy, but I still have that picture of us,
Because the man in it is the only one that I can trust.
And you always said "Oh my, look how that golden girl shines!"
Who would have thought that I`d end up with the tougher spine?
Didn`t you say that a pretty girl like me just didn`t have the fight?
I can admit you`re gorgeous, but Baby; you`re not very bright.
