Red Rose of Love, Black Rose of Death

Red rose of Love,
Black rose of Death,
Tainted lovers bind,
Their souls cast into the abyss.

Darkness consumes,
Love no longer exists
Ungodly fumes,
Tainted was their lovers kiss.

Into the fire
Did their love soon go,
Emotions run deep
As time goes too slow.

Love is life and
Love is death.
Twas it this lovers fate
To end up on the other end
Of this lovers stake?

    Wow. This is a very powerful poem. Great use of strong words. My favorite line was,

    "Ungodly fumes,
    Tainted was their lovers kiss."

    Great imagery too. 5/5 Wonderful.
