I wanna be with you

I want to tell you something,
But I don't know how to say it.
I want to make it sound loving,
But I can't make the words fit.

So here i go with my best shot,
I have had people tell me that we could not be.
But I didn't care because I Fought,
Even though the years between us might be three.

But love isn't about age,
Its about the feeling between two.
And its about being on the same page,
And always having something new.

So I hope you know that I really like you,
And I don't want anything to break us up too.
Just as long as were together,
And loving each other.

    A lovely emotional poem that I can relate to very well. I like the layout I feel that some rhyming may help the flow in the poem but the message was very clear.
