My Almighty

Some people believe it
some people don't
others don't care
and some simply wont

i never really used to
until that day came
now i no longer
have to live in shame

this man is my god
and my faith i put in him
his presence is like a river
and here i am to swim

forgive me for cursing you
i just thought it was cool
but now I'm starting to realize
i was just a selfish fool

for my god almighty
my love for you is true
i may still sin
but forgive me I'm new

    I admire those who have a commitment to there faith. the only problem i could see is maybe try using another word then "cool" because it is slightly cliche. also it's fine to just have lowercase i's when your typing but usually try and make your I's capitals when submitting poetry because it makes it more formal.
