Learn From the Best

I thought I knew what I should do
Let go of you and what we had been through
this whole time I thought I was in love and you were not
Then I'm ready to let go
Find the friendship we could know
Then you called me your woman I told you never
Trying to be strong; I was letting go and you were holding on
You emitted that you you love me
always will and always have
Constantly thinking of me,wondering how I am
Doing anything for me
Somehow you want to be my man
I was scared to say it back, unsure if it was true
See I had, over a month ago, fallen out of love with you
Scared of the way you were capable of introducing your hell to my heart beating true
I didnt know how to react, what to say, if we should still be through
So I hugged you and told you
"Oh baby, I'm so sorry-I'll always love you"
A lie I know,but yet it's true
An honest sin,can I be forgiven?
Can I justify this deception?
It's a whole new playing field for both me and you
You've got on the right track(loving me back)
But I think I'm only playing you
