Angels

In an abandoned field they stand
a young man and his little sister
together, hand in hand

Surrounded by silence, filled with despair
Nowhere to run to, nowhere to go
looking for comfort, seeking for care

Along comes a woman
she sees them and knows
these souls are my destiny
within her heart new love grows

Slowly she approaches these angels
neglected by God
She spreads out her arms
and showers them with love

Their search has come to an end
finally someone who understands
to attend to their comfort and needs
and cure their hearts that bleed

    good job with this its a very unique poem and i like that because it makes it memorable

    Your simple nature of writing amazes me in many ways....I am not sure how do I describe it but I find your poetries very pleasant and its simplicity brings me comfort yet, its all so meaningful!
