Lonely

by pookiengurgi   Nov 15, 2007

You've got muscles,you've got grit
You've got a heart,but you don't take shit
Genuine smiles and a few ditzy moments
Win you friends over
Like the magic in Hocus-Pocus
What you need,
is steel stability
But all you get
is the scattered agility
To bend & break at just the right moments
Like those times when willpower
Simply won't get get you through it
You've fell in love, and you found out
That it's a wonderful feeling
If and when things work out
But what do you do when you learn
That No Matter What
Love=Loss
These are the moments that throw you into deep thought
Reminding you you'll always get what you've got
You'll never get the chance to say goodbye
And you'll never give yourself the chance to cry
You're able to make friends anywhere you go
They'll probably always be changing
But hey, you never know
You'll always know to fight
When the going gets too tough
The only way you know how to make it
is as long as life stays rough
Don't worry that your Independence makes you lonely
Because you're also tough
