It?s been a while now, Since I left you here,
But you always keep me close, As I wipe your salty tears.

I watch you everyday, I sit so close to you
I feel you breathing always, God knows how much I miss you

I sit at your side, When you wake up in the day
And I?m there when you pray for me, Hearing all you have to say.

All the tears I?ve caught, From those beautiful eyes,
Could fill an ocean full, So I could swim and ease your cries

When its 10 degrees outside, And you want me to be there,
I?m already holding you close, Blocking the arctic air,

You sit and think about me, And it always makes you laugh
You shine that beautiful smile, And you always make it last,

When the rain hits your back, And the wind in your hair,
When you feel so alone, Please know I?m there,

When you feel chills, Run down your soft skin,
That?s me touching you, I try to pull you in

All those times you whisper, "I love you" to the breeze
Know that I am listening, Whispering the same thing

Even though I?m not here in touch, I never leave your side
Holding you tightly, Undying love inside

When you sit and look at pictures, And think of my good times wit you
When you sit and miss me dearly, Please know I miss you too

When you?re dwelling on our past, Tears fall from your eyes
I?m watching you closely, Squeezing your hand as you cry

I?ve loved you since the first day I saw you, And I love you still
Keep our love close to your heart, I know you always will

The day God took me home, He grasped me by the hand
