Breaking Hearts Has Never Looked So Cool

She told me breaking hearts was the latest trend
And at first I did not believe
But I found I hated the pain that mourned
When I wore my heart on my sleeve.

So I took up breaking hearts and made it chic
Like a designer Gucci blouse
Felt my calling was this all along
Though I was really just a louse.

She told me breaking hearts was quite okay
That way you weren't in pain
Now I see it doesn't make any sense
And my desire begins to wane.

Breaking hearts has never looked so cool
What a facsimile, what a lie
But I'm too accustomed to this I've known
So much, I don't even have to try.

    I'm impressed with that stanza. I love the way you put Gucci in a poem. I always try to make something cool in my poem. This pone give me inspiration to do that. It must be 5/5!!!

    That made me smile. Hehe. The flow was just, so, natural. It was great. The piece was sad, yet happy and cheery in a way. Lol. I loved the title. Not as much emotion as I thought for a title like this, but still great job!
