Forever and Ever

Forever and Ever

She kept thinking to herself
that she will not let her heart fall again
no more tripping, at least until its healed

fortunately fate had another plan,
so the winds of time kept turning
and as she walked into that restaurant
she was drawn to the drive through boy

one look into his deep blue eyes
and her heart began to turn
the butterflies filled her stomach
and her heart, it fell again

But this time it was different
everything was different
for when he placed his lips upon hers
...she fell towards the heavens

for the first time her knees had gone weak
and the smile wouldn't leave her lips
so this is what love truly feels like
were the words upon her smile

As he gazed upon her eyes
her heart leapt out towards his own
and in her mind there was a thought
she just knew... they were forever

Awww, darling! This poem made my heart flutter whenever I read it! This was an all around amazing poem! No joke! I can definitely relate.. I thought of my beloved boyfriend Tyler whenever I read this. This is what happened to me, except I first saw him whenever he moved to my school and came into my World History class lol. Totally and completely beautiful. If someone disagrees than I will personally hunt them down and beat them with a stick! 5/5 <3 <3 <3 <3
