MY FRIEND

Your the same person you were,
When we first met a while ago,
And when you walked in the room,
I never thought I'd like you so.

We started to talk one day,
And we became friends,
And hoped everyday,
Ahat our friendship never ends.

We had our fights,
Sadly I betrayed you,
I thought you'd never forgive me,
and our friendship was through.

I thought you would turn away,
Our friendship would end,
I would have lost you,
My heart would never mend.

But you forgave me,
When I was feeling alone,
You have such a big heart,
And not one made of stone.

You are a great friend,
A great friend indeed,
You are there to talk,
When a hand is what I need.

Our friendship has evolved,
So many memories shared,
But just remember my friend,
I have always cared.

**THIS ONE I WROTE FOR SOME ONE, IT WAS KINDA HARD TO GET THERE FEELINGS OUT SO THE WORDING ISN'T THAT POWERFUL OR MOVING**

    Friends are the best. it is nice that they can be so forgiving. that is what truely makes a good friend!
    my only thought is that
    "And hoped everyday,
    Ahat our friendship never ends."

    it should be
    "And hoped everyday,
    That our friendship never ends.

    you mispelled one word.
    ugh, typos.

    Great work.. and i understand where you are coming from when you say that it is hard to get your real feelings out, but i think that you did a pretty good job through this piece...but you can also tell that it could have used a little more emotion...but its not a horriable poem, it is actually pretty good! Keep it up! :D

    You're right in a sense i can see you had a bit of trouble getting it out how you wanted to .. however i think the elemental aspect really added to the power.. and i loved it
