Cries for rain

by damont   Jan 8, 2008

In the middle of the skies cries
tears drops from its bloody eyes
seeps down into the pits of jail
and looks upon the hearts that fail
the sun can't hear there cries
nor the moon there thoughts
they wait in sight
of water to feel alive
a plead is heard through the sound of wailing
and a voice of many words keep sailing
an understanding of gathering is met
the sky blood stans the ground
and tears from a broken heart begins to drown
the screaming of pain
and silence falls on the strain
when the rain stops
all thats left is an empty shell
until the rain comes again
