Everyday is the same

Shattered are the pieces
what used to be a whole,
broken is the thought
what used to be my soul,

violence is the answer
to everything I do,
hopeless is what people say
when they really don't have a clue,

depressed is a feeling
that I feel everyday,
alone is how I felt
when you slipped away,

gloomy is the weather
which I see all the time,
overlooked is the path I see
when I feel like crossing the line,

tearful in my eyes
when I can't control the pain,
hated is my life
which everyday is the same

    This is intresting. It's not cliche at all and it gave a different spin in which I had originally thought it to be. My only suggestion which isn't even a suggestion is maybe use some capital letters just a thing of mine. Nice job

    This poem is really good, I liked he structure you used - I think it helped the flow run more smoothly. Your rhyming was also very good and the emotion you used was clear all the way through very nice job =]
