Lingering Shadows

by MeltInHisArms   Feb 6, 2008

Lingering in the shadows of what use to be...
their eyes engrossed in passion, blinded from what's to see.
Difference of love and lust has been lost in uncertency...
laughter turned to hurt, a treasure of no treasuracy.
Expectations he holds with no desire she has to achieve...
his yearning of rightness she has yet to perceive.
Resenting change and fearing a state of insane...
impossible to match words to feelings he can't explain.
