It's kind of sad that what I wrote about 5 years ago is still relevant and in the same exact state today.

She was like the Summer,
Barely anyone appreciated her when she was there,
But once she was gone,
All they did was miss her.

I will intimidate you,
I will scare you,
I will challenge you,
But it's only because I'm scared to let you close enough to hurt me.

I push everyone away,
When all I really want is for someone to hug me,
&& Tell me it'll be okay.
