I close my eyes, wishing I'm fine...even though I'm not this time

Sometimes all u can do is smile and walk away, hold your tears back and pretend like everything's okay

Sometimes I sit and watch the ink leak from my pen. It comforts me to know something else bleeds the way I do.

For in the face of heartbreak, I look up and realize it is self inflicted.

I wasn't asking for the world

She finally gave up.
Dropped the fake smile.
Let tears she had held back to long, fall.
Then whispered to herself.
'I can't do this anymore....'

Dreaming of death but afraid to die.
It makes perfect sense to her.

My life gets thrown in so many different directions that i'm not sure of where to land.
Everyday my perspective on things changes and half the time I'm not sure where I stand.

There is not a day where you don't cross my mind.
There is not a day that I sit all alone and just cry.
