Congrats Site Judges: March - August 2011!

Our site judges have done a wonderful job for us and the site in the past 6 months, and they deserve our whole-hearted gratitude. Their volunteer duties have taken no less than weekly hours of dedication, commitment, talent, and altruism.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Judges, this week was your last week of judging (at least for this term), so sit back, grab a martini, and drink to the sweet life ;)

Its been enjoyable reading the poems week after week.

It's been fun, though I only filled in for someone for a few months. Best of luck to the new judges! It's a lot of hard work, but definitely fun also!

i'm very curious when it comes to who commented my poems, now i knowwwwwww

Yeah, well, the wine was finished so I'm down to my housemate's strange selection of alcohol (he doesn't knoooooow).

I don't need a celebration, this is fairly normal for me.

But yaaaaay to having no stress of reading and rereading and checking for new nominations and reading some more and shortlisting and choosing and commenting and sending and rechecking that it's sent without the weird question mark thingies and hoping that the other judges are doing their share
every
single
week.

But it was fun, really it was. I'd do it again. For a third of the time.

Ah, the annoying part of the process. Damn weird thingies.

I started to get a little judge freaked out when I was commenting on all the poems for Nor and I's contest and then the week would go so quick and I'd have the weekly contest as well.

I see, Ms. Abby Fabby seems friendlier than ever when drunk, and I like that, lol. oops!

True, the only hard part was probably sifting through all the nominated poems and yeah eliminating those weird fonts.

Edit: Lol, Mel, I remember that part too, OMG 17 poems in a few hours, that was crazy. :)

So the judges that has revealed thus far is: Mel, Abbys, Temps, Myryn.

6 judges served us in the past 6 months. One stepped down midway and Temps picked up the slack :)

I haven't been around but I was one of the judges. :) It was a load of fun but extremely hard work that I unfortunately couldn't keep up with so I step down I believe in June or so. Thank you Temps for taking my spot. :) You did a great job! :) Also all you other judges did a wonderful job and I wish the best of luck to the new set of judges! :)
