Thanks to all for your kind wishes.
I got my own wish for a birthday cake: Death by Chocolate from the 3 Brothers Bakery:
"four layers of rich chocolate cake, brushed with chocolate liqueur and then filled with housemade fudge, then frosted in a thin layer of chocolate buttercream before enveloping the entire cake in amazing chocolate ganache. Chocolate buttercream scrollwork is added for elegance and drama."

It's every bit as good as they make it sound. I had two slices & felt five years drop off my life expectancy.
