Earth day is April 22nd.....these poems are due April 22nd.

It's time for some nature poems in full force everyone!

I'm going to post several words to help motivate you with this challenge. No reserve necessary... You may use one, a few, or all if you wish.... Let's Honor Mother Earth....the poem can be any style you wish. Please message me with your poem when you are finished....

These poems can also be metaphoric, use at least one word.

I would like people to sign up below....you don't need to post what word you are using....just want to get a show of hands.... Raise them high folks!!!!!

Should be great - lovely to see so much inspiration being ignited by this. How lovely that words and nature still hold such sway. Whenever I think of poetry, the first thing that comes to mind is daffodils, streams, mountains, trees etc (too much time reading the romantic poets) so this really should be a treat.

Em, you are right, there is some wonderful talent taking part but it strikes me as a shame that the queen of the nature category (Maple herself) will not be taking part. The burden of being host!

I've actually got a Sonnet prepared for the special day, but of course its not for this challenge, just Earth Day :-)
