Your Mad Ballerina

by Sunshine   Jun 5, 2015

My feet dance along
your melodies like
a mad ballerina
whirling in air of sugar
and rays of light.

And you
break my silence
and you invade my night
like homeless chords
gone mad for a roof,
for a rhyme,
for a note of hugs.

You are-
my very own
music box.

A simply beautiful and charming piece that I can't believe I hadn't read. That has been rectified (three times) and it gets better with every read. I love the layout of the piece. It really is a delicate and pure piece of poetry; well done, Rania. A deserved win indeed.
    All the very best,

There is such beauty in your words here hon. It seems like the poem is talking about how much you can love one here, and how much they light up your life. This is the type of poem where I wish there was more to say lol. I love it so much. The ending is wonderful, truly rare and unique. I can see why this won the weekly contest. 5/5

Just perfection. I don't know what it is, but I just love it. I wish I would have read it sooner!
