Switching gears

by Dagmar Wilson   Nov 30, 2017

They think I am weird
I live my life different from theirs,
hearing all these voices it's making me nervous.

I am searching for peace
working hard on replacing these dark walls,
a soldier that may never win this war
of emotions in turmoil.

There is no gear to control the speed
nor a brake to stop this darkness from swallowing me,
I just want the sun in my house.

Sometimes we have to stumble in the dark before we can find the light...and just in case the sun isn't able to shine in your house just yet, know you'll always find rays of it here, and hopefully lending some much needed light and warmth :) well done on this beautiful write, and much love and healing to you.

An emotional last line, Dagmar; I certainly understand that.

Haha maybe you should move to Arizona

I was two years in Tucson. Flowers only bloom in the middle of winter there, and the only river they have is named dry river, which makes me wonder, if that name it dry river at fist, or waited for it to dry and then changed the name...
All I am saying, I got so much sun I still have some stored in my spirit.
Enough of that, This is a beautiful cozy little write as always. There are soul behind you words dear Dagmar.
