The problem with politics is that some people have so many problems that it makes running for office a problem while there are others without many problems that run for office without any problems and are elected without truly understanding the problems.

Only when people see the blood of war will they truly come to understand its consequences. Prior to that, it's a drama. A play. A film with a bunch of actors. You might buy it, you might not.

Saving wealth costs millions of lives whereas saving lives costs a few people the equivalent of a couple of quid.

Purpose is to work and work is to purpose... yet, both can be separated

It's so easy to get caught up in what people expect of you. Sometimes, you can just lose yourself.

Reforms cost money whereas revolutions cost lives.

Look around you: what do you see? Builders, mechanics, shop keepers, nurses, teachers, firemen, ambulance workers, carers, students. If you want a parliament that REFLECTS society, then society should vote for the people they see around them everyday.

Everyone has two sides to them, but by the end of the day, we end up with the side that everyone expects us to be.
